Designed to sit above the standard G30 hop filter, it adds an extra layer of protection against hop material reaching the pump. This is especially useful for hop forward all grain recipes and high addition boils. Made from premium stainless steel, it helps keep your all grain brew day running smoothly from start to finish.

Insert the plate into the perforated grain basket in the top or bottom position depending on your all grain mash setup. Make sure it sits flat and secure before adding grain. Some all grain brewers may notice a slight reduction in boil vigour or a small increase in time to reach a boil. Not recommended for use with Grainfather G30 baskets made before the G30v3 model.
